Get the tissues ready, as The 100 season 2, episode 5 will see almost all our characters have a touching reunion.

The 100 writers sure know how to give us what we want – only to take it away almost immediately.

Next Wednesday’s episode, titled “Human Trials,” not only reunites Clarke (Eliza Taylor) with her mother Abby (Paige Turco), but also brings Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) back to Camp Jaha.

The images reveal their happy reunions, complete with a Clarke/Bellamy hug (which we’re sure a lot of you are squeeing about)… but of course the episode can’t end there: Finn (Thomas McDonell) is still headed straight into the Grounder’s trap, having no idea that Clarke is safely back with her people.

So the group must be off on another adventure, sans Raven (Lindsey Morgan), whose new disability of course prevents her from joining:

We’re super excited about the reunions this week, if for no other reason than because something nice rarely happens on The 100! It almost hurts to see Clarke, Octavia and Bellamy sneak out again, leaving both friends and safety behind. Do you think Clarke even tells Abby that she’s leaving again?

The official synopsis for The 100 season 2, episode 5 reads:

“FINN REACHES A BREAKING POINT — Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) leads a mission to make peace with the Grounders. Meanwhile, Jasper (Devon Bostick) agrees to participate in a risky experiment, Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) enters a world of pain and President Dante Wallace (guest star Raymond Barry) issues a warning. Finally, Finn’s (Thomas McDonell) search for Clarke (Eliza Taylor) takes a violent turn.”

Now that Bellamy and Clarke have reunited, we fear that a lot of fans might not be so worried about what happens to Finn – whose situation is not helped by the fact that his only backup is a psychopath with a gun (sorry, Murphy).

It’s unlikely that everything will go smoothly, but we do hope that Finn and Clarke manage to find each other before anything bad (er, worse) happens!

And what about Lincoln? We’re still waiting to learn more about the Cerberus Experiment… and it doesn’t sound like it’ll be a pleasant experience for him!

‘The 100’ season 2, episode 5, ‘Human Trials,’ airs Wednesday at 9/8c on The CW.
