There’s so much fun to be had at San Diego Comic-Con’s panels, but this afternoon in Ballroom 20, the fun was all centered around The 100.

Check out our five favorite moments from the panel, and return to Hypable later to see what we found out when we got a chance to chat with Jason Rothenberg and the cast.

1. The Sizzle Reel

It was chock full of all of our favorite season 2 moments, and reminded us just how far our favorite show has come since The 100 dropped into our world two seasons ago. The reel may not have had new footage, since the cast hasn’t started shooting, but the reel reminded us of all the moments from season two that had us gripping our seats and sometimes wishing they just weren’t so.

2. Time jump!

A couple of months will have passed when we get back to our heroes and heroines, so season 3 will take us straight into some hardcore sci-fi action rather than watching them adjust to all the changes from the dramatic events of season two. A time jump isn’t a new device used to start a season on a fresh slate, but it is a first for The 100. A lot can happen in three months, so we can’t wait to see where our characters are when we see them in the premiere.

3. Ricky Whittle

While everyone else was trying to answer questions and be a little serious, Ricky Whittle was taking pictures, distracting Marie, and basically just having a damn good time at the end of the table. He donned a “Linctavia” hat for the occasion, and he was definitely ready to play. He also talked about how Lincoln has been affected by the crazy experiences that have been his life so far. He and Lincoln are totally ready for season 3, as Ricky said, “Game on!”

4. The cast gave the audience a standing ovation.

Isaiah was very surprised to see someone cosplaying as season 2 Moses-Jaha from all that time in the desert. As a token of his appreciation to the fans, he then had the entire cast stand and applaud the people that have made them what they are. It was a really beautiful moment from a cast to the fans, and we couldn’t help but be touched.

5. Ricky Whittle leaping off the stage to console a crying fan

He was so completely entertaining throughout the one hour panel, Ricky Whittle gets two of our favorite moments. When a fan with a question for Bob Morley couldn’t keep the tears from falling, Ricky came to her rescue and leapt from the stage to give her a hug and help her out. It’s certainly not the first time someone has done that at Comic-Con, but Ricky did it with such humble honesty, we couldn’t help but fall a little in love.
