The 100 is going on hiatus, returning with season 3, episode 9 on March 31.

Since there will be no new episode of The 100 on March 17, we’re looking ahead to the second half of the third season, anticipating the horrific effect of Lexa’s death and Pike’s continued reign of tyranny. With very few main characters left to fight the good fight, it’s up to beacons of hope Raven, Clarke and Octavia to set the world right.

Kane, Lincoln and Sinclair are all facing persecution for opposing Pike, while in Polis, the Grounders are reeling from the death of Lexa, and awaiting the selection of a new Commander.

Meanwhile Alie and Jaha are quietly continuing their plans for world domination, but with Raven shaken out of her City of Light trance, they might begin to face more opposition from wary Arkadians.

With no new episode of The 100 until March 31, we’ve got a few weeks to breathe, recovering from the loss of Lexa and re-focusing on the main characters, many of whose stories are equally rich and important, and definitely worth telling.

When The 100 returns, we will be able to return to the world of these characters with fresh eyes, and allow the story to play out the way the writers planned.

‘The 100’ season 3, episode 9 airs Thursday, March 31 at 9/8c on The CW

In The 100 season 3, episode 9 “Stealing Fire,” Clarke is still at Polis, mourning Lexa’s untimely death.

At Arkadia, Bellamy (finally) has a change of heart, opting to side against the tyrannic Pike in an effort to save Kane, Lincoln, and Sinclair. But is it too little, too late? Is the show losing another character so soon? Share your theories in the comments!
