On The 100 TV show, Bellamy and Clarke are on diverging paths. But in Kass Morgan’s book series, Bellarke is stronger than ever!

“Clarke… wake up. There’s something I want to show you.”

Thus begins Kass Morgan’s special Bellamy/Clarke-themed short story, released in honor of Valentine’s Day.

In her trilogy of The 100 novels, Bellamy and Clarke are two halves of what is indisputably the series’ OTP.

They begin to grow closer in the first instalment, and by Homecoming, they are inseparable as they struggle to figure out how to live on the ground.

This short story can best be described as a small “missing moment,” and is pure fluff for your enjoyment. It was released on Goodreads and announced by Morgan on Twitter:

Bellarke fans are, understandably, elated by this wonderful Valentine’s surprise. We won’t spoil it for you, but let’s just say it’s as perfect and uplifting as the occasion demands.

And the adorable short story couldn’t come at a better time: right now on The 100 (the TV show, that is), the odds are not in Bellarke shippers’ favor at all.

As Clarke and Lexa are growing closer at Polis, Bellamy finds himself seduced by Pike’s radical, Grounder-hostile agenda. In fact, his involvement with Pike might change his and Clarke’s relationship forever.

Happy Valentine’s Day, Bellarke shippers! We hope you enjoyed Kass Morgan’s surprise treat.

The 100 airs Thursday nights at 9/8c on The CW.
