A second clip from The Fault in Our Stars was released this week and depicts Hazel and Gus on their date in Amsterdam.
In the scene released by Yahoo! UK, the two love birds played by Shailene Woodley an Ansel Elgort are enjoying their first real date night in the romantic Netherlands town. Their waiter introduces them to champagne and invites them to “taste the stars.”
As readers know, this date night is when they enjoy a peaceful walk around Amsterdam as well as their first romantic night in bed. Hazel’s mom took the trip with them but stays out of their way for most of the trip. Things turn sour during their final day in the city when Gus has something important to reveal to Hazel about his health.
Only one other clip from the film based on the book of the same name by John Green has been released so far, and it depicts Hazel’s first encounter with Gus’ metaphor.
