Teen Wolf season 4 is all wrapped up, but we still have tons of questions we’d like to see answered in season 5.

Teen Wolf season 4 brought us many answers, to be sure. We learned more about Lydia’s powers, more about Scott’s abilities as an Alpha, and more about Derek’s role as a member of the rag-tag McCall pack.

But that doesn’t mean we don’t still have a million questions buzzing through our heads. Teen Wolf season 5 may not be premiering until next year, but we’re already anticipating what sort of mysteries will be solved.

And if the Teen Wolf writers happen to see our list of the top 10 questions we want answered in Teen Wolf season 5, so be it. We’re happy to provide a jumping-off point for what fans are eager to see next year!

1. What is Parrish?

This list is not in any particular order, but this still might be our number one question for season 5. They’ve teased us here and there about Parrish, first claiming he was “drawn” to Beacon Hills, then putting him on the Dead Pool, and then having him survive being burned alive. We’ve also seen his eyes glow an orange-red with the possibility of some inhuman strength thrown in there. At the end of the season 4 finale, we saw Lydia and Parrish buckling down to figure out what kind of supernatural creature the deputy is, and we hope we get that answer sooner rather than later.

2. Who is the Desert Wolf?

The Desert Wolf has been mentioned in passing several times this season. First, we learned that the Desert Wolf is Malia’s real mother. A desert wolf is another name for a coyote, so we can assume that Malia inherited her abilities from her biological mother and that this mysterious woman is also a werecoyote. Secondly, we learned that she’s also an assassin. Peter mentions her along with The Mute, The Orphans, and The Chemist when he’s in the middle of his delirious ravings about hiring professional killers to take out the supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills. And finally, we also know that when Braeden was still a U.S. Marshall she became obsessed with hunting down a woman with the code name the Desert Wolf. While we clearly have a lot more to learn about this woman, like how she got with Peter in the first place and why Malia was adopted out to another family, it’s obvious that her story is going to be one full of danger and intrigue. We can’t wait!

3. What other creatures are being held in Eichen House?

It was a surprise to learn that Eichen House was way more than it initially appeared to be. The asylum boasts plenty of floors, including a secret level that keeps dangerous supernatural creatures locked up so they don’t harm the inhabitants of the town. We’d love to learn what other creatures exist in the Teen Wolf universe, and Eichen House would be a fantastic place to start — especially if it means our heroes could view them from a safe distance.

4. Who was Braeden before she became a mercenary?

This little sneak peek into Braeden’s past when she revealed she used to be a U.S. Marshal was fascinating. We knew she had been a mercenary, so when we learned she had a more lawful backstory, it was surprising. With lines like, “A girl’s got to eat,” we figured Braeden had been on the other side of the law for quite some time. Now that we know she used to be a marshal, we’re curious about what she was like before she decided on a career change and how she ended up making that transition. We know it had a lot to do with the Desert Wolf, but how entwined are their stories?

5. Will Chris really be able to stop Kate?

One of the most poignant scenes of the Teen Wolf season 4 finale was when Chris said he didn’t want to kill Kate, his sister, but he wasn’t sure he wanted to save her either. Was she even worth saving after everything she had done? Even before she became a werejaguar, Kate had hopped over the line on more than one occasion and done some pretty horrendous things. Now that Chris is going after Kate, we definitely want to see what goes down between these siblings. Will Chris bring Kate to Eichen House and lock her up on the same floor as Peter, or will he put a bullet in her and end this once and for all?

6. What is going to happen to Peter?

Speaking of Peter, we’re definitely curious as to what he’s going to get up to in season 5. As of right now, he’s been locked away in Eichen House with Dr. Valack, the man with the third eye. We already saw what kind of reaction Dr. Deaton had to gazing into Valack’s third eye just that one time, so what’s going to happen to Peter now that he’s locked up in there for the duration of the foreseeable future? It won’t be good for Peter, that’s for sure. We’d love to pop in on him from time to time to see how he’s faring, especially since Dr. Valack seems to have the possibility of becoming an important character.

7. Who is Dr. Valack?

And if we’re talking about Peter, we might as well talk about Dr. Valack. This is the first time we’ve seen someone with a third eye in their head, so we’re aready extremely curious about his role going forward. Aside from the supernatural elements, however, we also learned that Valack is a doctor and that he is an expert when it comes to South American lore. He certainly knew what Kate was planning and was able to help Deaton figure out where Kate had dragged Scott and Kira off to. So, will Dr. Valack be a big villain for season 5? Will he be an enigmatic character that offers up information, but only at a price? And why exactly did he drill a hole into his forehead in the first place?

8. Where is the rest of Peter’s money?

The Dead Pool was a major part of season 4, though in the end it all boiled down to Kate’s vendetta against Scott and his friends for being the cause of Allison’s death, as well as Peter’s constant search for more and more power. While the Benefactor story line was tied up when we realized Peter was the true Benefactor thanks to his insanity and Meredith’s ability to hear his deranged ravings, all of his money was not recovered. Granted, a good portion of it went out to various assassins, but what about the rest? Does Meredith still have it? And if she returns it, will Derek take it, or will he give at least some of it to his friends in order to help them out of their various financial crises?

9. What other powers does Kira have?

The kitsune mythology is expansive, and there are several types of kitsunes with their own unique powers. We know Kira is a thunder kitsune, but what does that mean exactly? We’d love to see her gain more control over the powers she already has (like her ability to control electricity), but we’d also like to see what else she can do. Kitsunes are notorious tricksters, and one of their most famous abilities is to shape-shift. Will Kira be able to shift into a fox, or will she have the ability to mimic other people instead? We’d love to find out!

10. Will we learn more about Lydia’s family?

Granted, we got a lot of information about Lydia’s family in season 4, seeing as her grandmother ended up playing a huge role in the creation of the Dead Pool, but we want more! Lydia still has a long way to go when it comes to understanding her powers, and we’d like to see her revisit her family’s past and the lake house. It sounds like there are still a lot of mysteries to be solved there, and we’d love to see Meredith return and try to help Lydia discover a way to really hone her skills.
