Many Teen Wolf fans were disappointed when they heard that Gage Golightly (Erica) would not be returning to the show for season 3. However, we can still expect to see the actress on our screens as the lead in Company Town.

The news of Golightly’s departure came to us back in January, much to the disappointment of fans, who had truly begun to enjoy the character and wanted to see what the future held for her.

While we don’t know Erica’s fate in Teen Wolf (though we wouldn’t put it past the writers to make it a tragic one), we do know that the actress has moved on and landed the lead role in the pilot for the new CW show Company Town.

According to Deadline, Golightly will be playing Krista, someone who, “always lived a charmed life and is happily engaged to Paul, a lieutenant in the Navy.” The show centers on, “the aftermath of a scandal at a Naval base in Virginia, which touches the lives of both civilians and military personnel in the area.” Krista and her former best friend Page, “now are on opposite sides of the Townie/Military divide.” Krista’s life is turned upside when her fiancee gets involved with the scandal that rocks the town.

It’s quite a different role from her Teen Wolf character to be sure, but we’ve seen Golightly’s Erica as both vulnerable and arrogant. She was able to portray the two extreme personalities of Erica, and we’re sure that her portrayal of Krista will be no less stunning.

Recently, we’ve also learned that Adelaine Kane, who is slated to portray Cora in season 3, has joined the lead role in the CW historical drama Reign, which chronicles the life of Mary Queen of Scots as a teenager.

Thanks to Rosita for the tip!
