In another interview to build up hype for his new movie, The First Time, Dylan O’Brien (Stiles), talks about whether or not he thinks his Teen Wolf character should get a superpower.

Collider spoke with O’Brien, asking him about season 3 and whether or not he had a chance to talk with executive producer Jeff Davis about the future of his character. The actor states that he hadn’t gotten a chance to sit down with him yet, though he “literally just texted him last night, telling him that we needed to get dinner and I needed to hear about my character for the season ‘cause I don’t know what’s happening.”

Interestingly, O’Brien usually doesn’t think about where he would personally like to see his character go. “I feel like it’s not my place to decide where my character goes. I definitely weigh in, heavily, with stuff,” he says. “If it’s presented to me and I think it’s barbarically wrong and not, at all, anything that Stiles would be doing, I’ll say something about it.” But that doesn’t tend to happen on the Teen Wolf set, he adds, and it seems like he has complete faith in Davis’ talent. “You don’t disrupt genius at work.”

But what about the possibility of Stiles joining the team of supernatural characters? “I personally think it would be silly if Stiles was turned into anything.” But he won’t rule it out forever: “But, if we’re in Season 5, sure, we’ve gotta do something.” He goes on to jokingly say that Stiles would probably get a funny superpower, like Frog Man, and he would be completely useless and cynical about the whole thing. “But, I don’t think something like that will happen,” he emphasizes.

You can read the rest of the interview over on Collider, where O’Brien talks about his new movie projects, Sterek (“Do they really want us together, on the show?!”), and whether or not he knows Stiles’ first name.

Would you like to see Stiles get a superpower? If so, what kind?
