Charlie and Max Carver, who currently have a recurring role on Teen Wolf, have been cast in The Leftovers, based on the Tom Perrotta book.

The Carvers are portraying the Alpha Pack twins on the hit MTV show Teen Wolf. Charlie Carver plays Ethan, while Max Carver plays Aiden. The Alpha Pack twins are shrouded in mystery, and the fandom is filled with apprehension and misgivings about their true intentions.

Prior to Teen Wolf, the Carvers were known as the Scavo twins on Desperate Housewives. Now, however, they have been cast as regulars in The Leftovers.

The Leftovers is being directed by Peter Berg and written by Damon Lindelof. The show is based on Tom Perrotta’s book, which “revolves around the Rapture and follows a group of people who are left behind in the suburban community of Mapleton. They must begin to rebuild their lives after the sudden and mysterious disappearance of more than 100 people.”

The Carvers will be playing Scott and Adam Frost, a set of “happy-go-lucky identical twins.”

Fans of Teen Wolf may be wondering what this means for their characters on the show. At the moment, they’ve just been cast in the pilot, and the show has not been picked up for a whole season yet. However, Ethan and Aiden are both villains and only recurring characters, so there’s no promises they’ll make it out of season 3 alive.

On the other hand, Teen Wolf Executive Producer Jeff Davis has done his best to accommodate Dylan O’Brien’s increasingly busy schedule, as he’s been on New Girl and has filmed movies like The Internship and (currently) The Maze Runner.

If there were plans to keep Ethan and Aiden around longer than these first 12 episodes of season 3, we’re sure Davis would do the best he could to allow Max and Charlie Carver to work on both shows.

Thanks, Deadline.
