Teen Wolf’s Shelley Hennig has a new project lined up called When We First Met, a romantic comedy that involves a little bit of time travel.

It was recently announced that Teen Wolf season 6 would be the final chapter in the series. It’s due out November 15, 2016, but many fans are already looking ahead at what the cast and creative team might move onto once the show is over.

For Shelley Hennig, one of her post-Teen Wolf projects will be When We First Met, according to Deadline.

The romcom will star Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect, The Intern) and Alexandra Daddario (Percy Jackson, San Andreas), the former having also co-written the film. Robbie Amell (The Flash, The Tomorrow People) will be portraying Ethan.

Daddario’s role is that of Avery, and Hennig will play her best friend. The synopsis reads, “Noah (Devine) spends the perfect first night with the girl of his dreams (Daddario) but gets relegated to the friend zone. He spends the next three years wondering what went wrong — until he gets the unexpected chance to travel back in time and alter that night, and his fate, over and over again.”

Between shooting for Teen Wolf, Hennig has also starred in Unfriended and Ouija, both of which are firmly in the horror camp.

But as fans of Teen Wolf know, Hennig’s comedic timing is spectacular, and I certainly hope she’ll get a chance to show off that talent once When We Fist Met hits theatres — which will hopefully be sometime next year.
