The final Teen Wolf season is well on its way to completion, but news of a new cast member of season 6 has been announced.

Teen Wolf season 6’s last 20 episodes will deal with the Ghost Riders and the disappearance of Stiles Stilinski, as well as some new mythology. Whether or not that carries through the entire season or if something new will be featured in the second half has yet to be revealed.

What we do know, however, is that, according to Deadline, Sibo Mlambo will have a recurring role on season 6.

Mlambo will be portraying Tamora Monroe, “the new humanities teacher and guidance counselor at Beacon Hills High. She’s charismatic, smart and inspires students with her passion — a passion that can get too intense.”

It is particularly interesting to hear that the actress will be taking over guidance counselor duties, as that job once belonged to Ms. Morrell, whom we haven’t seen since season 3, episode 20, “Echo House.” Morrell was also Deaton’s sister and a Druid Emissary.

Lydia’s mother, Natalie Martin, also took over the guidance counselor’s office in season 5. She was just a substitute teacher, so it’s not too much of a surprise there may be someone else filling in now.

Whenever new teachers are hired at Beacon Hills High School, we have to wonder whether they’re evil or how long they’re going to last before they come face to face with what goes bump in the night.

Tamora Monroe sounds like a kind and enthusiastic enough person, but that enthusiasm could get her in trouble. If she’s not evil, her passion might provide the reason why she gets a glimpse into the supernatural world. Or, you know, maybe she’s supernatural already!

Mlambo has also been seen on Black Sails, on Starz.

‘Teen Wolf’ season 6 will premiere on November 15 at 9:00 p.m. ET on MTV
