News about Teen Wolf season 6 has been limited, but we’ve now learned that a new actor has joined the cast. Welcome, Ross Butler!

It’s time for some fresh blood on Teen Wolf, as Ross Butler has joined the cast in a recurring role. Butler, according to The Wrap, will be playing Nathan, “a sexy new member of the Beacon Hills lacrosse team who doesn’t believe in the supernatural. But that’s about to change.”

We’ll never say no to more lacrosse on Teen Wolf — and with Arden Cho having recently departed the series, we know there’ll be at least one position on the team up for grabs.

As for what will lead to Nathan discovering the supernatural goings on in and around Beacon Hills, we’ll have to wait for Teen Wolf to return to our screens. Maybe he’ll be an all-new creature that will eventually join Scott’s pack or another human ally.

Production on Teen Wolf recently moved from their Northridge location to a new set, which means we might also be getting some new locations to go with this new face.

Other shake-ups to production include Dylan O’Brien’s recent on-set accident whilst filming the latest Maze Runner film, The Death Cure. His recovery seems to be making progress, as he was recently linked to the lead role in American Assassin. What this move means for Teen Wolf is currently uncertain, and no official statements have been made by MTV about O’Brien’s involvement in season 6 of the supernatural drama.

Ross Butler will be seen next in the CW’s teen-drama adaptation of the Archie comics, Riverdale, as Reggie Mantle — should it be picked up to series. Butler’s other notable roles have included Teen Beach 2, Perfect High, K.C. Undercover and Chasing Life.

MTV have not set a premiere date for Teen Wolf season 6. Keep checking back on Hypable for all the latest news, as we learn it.
