When speaking to the Teen Wolf cast at Comic-Con, a few of them gave us an idea of what they’d like to see from season 6.

Teen Wolf season 5 may have just started airing, but fans are already anxious about what we can expect from season 6. Speaking at the San Diego Comic-Con roundtables yesterday, Executive Producer Jeff Davis and actors Tyler Posey and Dylan Sprayberry gave us their thoughts on the subject.

Davis admits, “We don’t know yet. We have a couple of ideas, and I think one of the reasons why we had wanted to do a season 6 was because we had sort of thought that this would probably be it. But the show is still the number one scripted show on the network, and I came up with an idea that everybody seems to like for season 6 that allows us to keep going. So we’ll see.”

If season 6 ends the show, will we be satisfied or will it end on a huge cliffhanger? “I never think about endings like that,” he says of the cliffhanger idea. “I don’t know if I love endings like that. I’m a fan of endings that are sort of like, ‘The adventure continues, dot dot dot…’ I like to know that […] nothing really ends. You don’t have to die. So it also leaves the opportunity to maybe do a movie, you know. Tyler [Posey] and I talk about doing Teen Wolf: The Movie every now and then.”

Even Posey got on the bandwagon, discussing what it would be like to do Teen Wolf outside of Beacon Hills High. “The high school itself is its own character,” he says. “It’s really such a vital part of our show. It’s been around since the first episode. It’s an interesting thing to kind of play with and mess around with in my head. We could just carry it on into college, you know. Scott has a lot of aspirations to go to a really good college, so maybe it just kind of transcends into college. But I think it’s really cool to see what Beacon Hills and Teen Wolf would be like without a school aspect in it, you know? They have more time to kick ass and to save lives and to fall in love.”

He also shared his specific idea for season 6, saying, “It would be in the future. Not too long in the future, but Scott would be like in his 20s.” He adds, “Like a big time jump. I’m getting chills talking about it. He does have stubble, he’s got a buzzed head, and he’s shirtless, and that’s all I’m gonna say because I’ve got cool ideas, but I don’t know if we’re going to use them or not.”

Sprayberry says, “The whole thing that we talk about is that I would turn into kind of like Scott, and Scott would be like Derek, still giving advice and being like the older, wiser werewolf that’s there to help the young alpha figure everything out, so that’s kind of something we’ve talked about, but I don’t know if we’re even going to get into that in season 6. But if that were to happen, then that’s what it would be like.”
