The Teen Wolf season 6 premiere date is still unknown, but hopefully we’ll learn more at San Diego Comic-Con 2016!

Update: MTV has released further information about Teen Wolf’s presence at SDCC 2016:

“First up, cast members and executive producer Jeff Davis will appear at a panel discussion/Q&A moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s resident TW expert Samantha Highfill in Ballroom 20 (home sweet home!) on Thursday, July 21 at 4:30PT. The gang will unveil an exclusive first-look Season 6 trailer (!!!), dish on upcoming storylines (more Stydia perhaps?) and answer audience questions.”

They also go on to detail information about their booth on the show floor (#3729), “which will give fans an all-new, interactive Virtual Reality activation using first-to-market, gaze-activated technology. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to get autographs from a slew of MTV talent from Teen Wolf and The Shannara Chronicles. And yes, there will be free swag as well — including MTV portable chairs, MTV iFans, Teen Wolf fangs plus posters for both series and more (you know you want to get your paws on some of that). Be on the lookout for more signing schedule updates on our Teen Wolf social accounts (look out for the hashtag #TeenWolfSDCC).”

Original story: Everyone is dying to find out when Teen Wolf season 6 will premiere, but right now we have very little information about what’s next for Scott and his pack. Usually, the show airs in June and concludes a couple months later, only to take a break in the fall and finish up the season starting in January.

This year, season 5 ended in March, and fans were confident season 6 would pick up, as usual, sometime in June. Instead, June came and went, and no news popped up about a premiere date.

Teen Wolf has been listening, though, and they all know we’re dying to find out what happens next. Luckily, the show will once again be at San Diego Comic-Con, which means we should be learning more about what’s been going on and what we can expect for this upcoming season.

This year will be my fourth at SDCC, and each year I’ve attended a room packed with Teen Wolf fans. I doubt this year will be any different. Usually, the panels consist of a trailer, a Q&A with a moderator, and fan questions from the audience.

In the past, however, other shows have brought entire episodes to the convention, and considering news has been so slow, this would be a delightful treat to the fans. Is that too much to hope for?

Season 5 wrapped up with the reveal that Mason was The Beast all along. Upon saving him, the group defeated Sebastien Valet, but in the meantime the Alpha werewolf trapped by the Dread Doctors escaped from his tank. This season will be about mind control and the theme of friendship.
