Teen Wolf season 5 has added its first new character to the roster. Come check out who else will be gracing Beacon Hills with their presence this year!

According to MTV, Christian (19) will be playing Theo, a new student to Beacon Hills High who will join Scott and some of his friends in their senior year. Theo is “a lone wolf who is drawn to the spooky California town in search of a pack.”
And would it truly be a Teen Wolf character if there wasn’t a little more to Theo than meets the eye? MTV also states, “He’s described as athletic and charming yet covert, and while it may appear that the young adult is new to town, his past might suggest otherwise.”
Citing his athleticism immediately makes us wonder if he’ll be joining Scott, Stiles, Liam, and Kira on the lacrosse team. And whenever anyone has ties to Beacon Hills, we always have to ask if they have a connection to the Hale family, who has had a strong presence in the town for at least a couple of generations.
Christian is best known for his role on Pretty Little Liars as Mike Montgomery, Aria’s little brother. He’s also had small roles in Grey’s Anatomy and True Blood.
Of particular note is that Christian’s ethnicity is labeled as both Native American and Caucasian. Perhaps he’ll be playing a role that could fit in with one of our previously projected theories?
Teen Wolf season 5 began filming yesterday, February 9, with the official account tweeting a photo of the halls of Beacon Hills High.
News about season 5 is slow right now, but if this announcement of a new character is anything to go by, it’ll be picking up soon. Teen Wolf will premiere in June — though an exact date is unknown at the moment — with the first episode titled, “Creatures of the Night.”
