Teen Wolf season 5 officially began filming today, and the cast and crew have returned to the halls of Beacon Hills High.

Don’t worry, Wolf Pack, the hiatus before Teen Wolf season 5 is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

When Teen Wolf season 4 wrapped up in September 2014, we knew we had a good eight or nine month hiatus on our hands. And while the last few months have been quiet as the creators lay out their plans for this year, the beginning of filming means new information should begin making its way online, leading us into the new season.

Teen Wolf took to Twitter today to announce their return to the show, much to the delight of its fans:

While this simple picture only makes us want more, it does tell us that our favorite supernatural creatures and humans alike will be making their way back down the halls of Beacon Hills High, for better or worse.

We don’t know much about season 5 so far, but we do know that Tyler Posey (Scott McCall) already thinks it’s badass, saying they’ll be exploring yet another story line unlike anything they’ve done before.

We’ve also gotten the premiere title of the fifth season, which will be called “Creatures of the Night.” The show will be returning in June, but there’s no word just yet on an exact date. As soon as that’s revealed, though, we’ll be sure to pass it along.

Season 4 left off with a lot of questions, and we hope we’ll be getting at least some of them answered. Of particular interest is the identity of Malia’s mother (the desert wolf) and what kind of creature Deputy Parrish actually is.

We also know that Teen Wolf held a contest for those interested in designing a creature for the show, so it looks like just about anything could be on the table for season 5!

How excited are you that ‘Teen Wolf’ season 5 has finally begun filming?
