Teen Wolf season 5 has added a recurring character to the roster named Corey.

According to TVLine, we still don’t know if we’ll be seeing Danny again. At the end of season 3, we learned that Danny knew everything, meaning he was well aware that his friends (and boyfriend!) were moonlighting as werewolves.

Season 4 left us in the dark as to his fate. Is he still at Beacon Hills but Scott & Co. just don’t talk to him anymore? Has he been kidnapped? Did he move to Europe, too?

While season 5 doesn’t look like it holds an answer to Danny’s fate, we are at least learning of a new character making their way to our screens. Unfortunately for him, though, he might not in very good shape when we first meet him.

TVLine says the fourth episode, titled “Condition Terminal,” will give us our first look at Corey. The new character will be in the operating room for a “strange, painful wound,” which certainly sounds ominous. Is it a natural wound, or a supernatural one? Will he be turning into a werewolf, or is this going to be part of an entirely new story for season 5?

While in the hospital, Corey “dishes on his boyfriend Lucas,” who will be a guest star, rather than a recurring character. Lucas is described as “a shy young man who has become an aggressive problem at a club.” This club in question is probably Jungle, the gay club we saw in season 2, episode 6, “Frenemy.”

Since Lucas is billed as a guest star, we have a feeling his run on Teen Wolf might be short-lived.

Teen Wolf season 5 will premiere in June of this year for a 20-episode run, which will be broken up into two sets of 10.
