In a new video with some of the main players from Teen Wolf season 4, the cast tells fans what they can expect from upcoming episodes.
With appearances from Dylan O’Brien (Stiles), Tyler Hoechlin (Derek), Holland Roden (Lydia), and Tyler Posey (Scott), shot during the making of the first promo for season 4, we get thoughts from the remainder of the core cast members of Teen Wolf. Watch the video in its entirety below:
“There will be no more people rising from the dead, like we had in season 1, 2, and 3,” Roden says. “They mean it this time.”
With reappearances from the likes of Peter and Kate, Teen Wolf has shown us they’re not afraid to bring back big characters for additional seasons even if they had died (or just appeared to die) previously.
But season 4 sounds like it’s going to put a stop to that. After Peter’s comment in the last promo (“Can’t someone in this town stay dead?”), we have to wonder if this will be something season 4 focuses on in particular.
Speaking about Allison’s death at the end of season 3, Hoechlin says, “I think in a weird way it opens it up to kind of come back to the core of the characters, even though we’re sadly missing one, but it’ll be interesting to see how everybody kind of adapts, the new relationships, and coping with those things.”
There are also several comparisons between season 1 and season 4, and O’Brien says that doing season 4 has been nostalgic for him because of it. And yet, Posey also says, “It’s Teen Wolf. It’s adventurous, and we’re taking it to new places.”
Overall, the cast seems super excited for season 4, and we can’t wait to pick the show back up again when it returns on Monday, June 23 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
