No, it wasn’t on purpose. The audio mysteriously cut out of last night’s episode of Teen Wolf. If you were one of the affected, you can watch the clip again — now with sound!

Something went wrong with last night’s recording of Teen Wolf season 4, episode 4, titled “The Benefactor.” When Mason and Lydia were talking in an upstairs room of the lake house, the dialogue cut out and all you could hear was the background noise.

It wasn’t supposed to be some trick of Lydia’s banshee powers, which allows her to hear certain sounds that clue her in to the mysterious deaths that plague Beacon Hills. Instead it was some sort of glitch that seemed to affect a great number of viewers.

Not to worry! Thanks to the official Teen Wolf Facebook page, you can watch the whole scene right now — with the sound mercifully fixed. Check out the clip below:

It’s too bad that the audio cut out when we finally got to see newcomer Mason (Khylin Rhambo) on our screens for more than just a few seconds, but at least this newly released clip allows us to hear his interactions with Lydia, rather than just see them.

In the scene, Lydia explains that they just put the lake house on the market and that it was incredibly important nothing be damaged. Everything had to be perfect for when they sold it because she and her mother needed the money. While that wasn’t incredibly vital information, we do think it’ll be important going forward, considering a lot of the kids this season seem to be having some money trouble.
