Teen Wolf season 4, episode 11, “A Promise to the Dead,” has just finished airing. Our recap explains everything that went down in Beacon Hills this week.

Teen Wolf season 4, episode 11, titled “A Promise to the Dead,” begins with a man dragging a body bag through a meat locker. Inside it is a young woman, still alive. The man is a wendigo, and just as he’s about to eat his victim, Deaton shows up and takes him back to Eichen House.

But for once the man wasn’t going to Eichen House because he was crazy, he was going because of his peculiar culinary tastes. It turns out that Eichen House is even more of a mystery than we originally thought it was. There’s actually a secret floor where supernatural creatures are held.

After delivering the wendigo to one of the doctors at Eichen House, Deaton asks to visit one of their other charges. The man is kept in isolation, and from the sounds of it, he’s more dangerous than all of the other residents.

Deaton wants to know about Kate and what she did to Derek, claiming that he made a promise to the woman he loved (who we assume was Talia Hale). The man unwraps the bandage from his head and reveals a third eye. He can’t tell Deaton what he knows, but he can show him.

Back at Scott’s house, Melissa finds the money from the Dead Pool Scott had hidden under his bed. Melissa tells Scott that while the money could definitely help them with their financial worries, it isn’t going to solve everyone’s problems. She makes her point by handing him a bloody stack of hundred dollar bills.

Both Liam and Lydia are still worried about potential threats to their lives. For Liam, he can’t stop seeing berserkers everywhere, and he pushes Mason away more and more each time his best friend tries to figure out what’s wrong with him. Lydia, meanwhile, showed up to Derek’s screaming, and she definitely has a bad feeling she can’t quite place.

Scott does the right thing and returns the money to Derek, but Derek says it’s all Peter’s. His own money is in his loft, since he owns the whole building and has his own bank accounts.

Deaton is in a bit more of a pickle, however. He wakes up in Mexico, in the same tombs we saw Derek buried in previously. But Deaton is actually in Eichen House still, in some sort of coma or dream state thanks to the man with the third eye.

Scott apparently killed two birds with one stone when he visited Derek, because he also apparently asked if he could borrow the loft for his first date with Kira. They attempt to watch Star Wars, since Scott has never seen it before, but they quickly get distracted.

Unfortunately for them, Kate and her berserkers show up right when things start getting really intimate. Fighting ensues while Mason comforts Liam and Peter and Chris go toe to toe across town. Kate demands what is so special about Scott McCall, and we had to resist yelling at the screen, “Oh, Kate, let us count the ways.”

Parrish finds Chris because he’s been following Peter ever since that whole thing with Meredith and the Dead Pool went down. But Chris isn’t in a good place. He’s been literally bolted to the wall, thanks to Peter.

Meanwhile, Scott and Kira haven’t shown up to the lacrosse game, and Liam is feeling pretty lost without his Alpha. He keeps seeing berzerkers everywhere and freezing up. Stiles should probably be feeling pretty good right now since his Eichen House bills were written off because he almost got murdered by one of the staff members, but he’s a little too worried about Scott. Plus, he hasn’t gotten any better at lacrosse.

But Scott and Kira aren’t showing up anytime soon. Kate has plans to take them back to Mexico.

Peter shows up at the game to have a little father-daughter talk with Malia. He tells her he found her mother, but if she wants to see her, Malia has to do something for him in return. He wants her to kill Kate Argent.

Kira wakes up in a dungeon of some sort, but she’s all alone.

Brett visits Liam and tells him how lucky he is to have Scott as an Alpha, since he’s a True Alpha.

In the final few shots, we see Parrish helping Chris escape, and his eyes glow orange as he does. Everyone realizes Scott and Kira are gone, and Deaton — who is awake once more — says they’re in Mexico. And back in Mexico, we find out that Kate is the one who has changed people into the berzerkers. And she’s about to do the same to Scott.
