Teen Wolf season 4, episode 10, titled “Monstrous,” will premiere the day before its usual airing and at a new time-slot.

According to MTV, episode 10 of Teen Wolf will first air on Sunday, August 24 at 7 p.m. as a lead-in to the VMA Pre-Show, which is being hosted by Lucy Hale.

The episode will then air again on its usual day and at the normal time, which will be Monday, August 25 at 10 p.m. ET.

Though no reason was given for the change in the air date, it will possibly allow for more eyes to see the episode as people wait around for the VMA ceremony to begin. It’ll be interesting to note afterwards if this change-up brings in a newer or wider audience and if that audience will stick around for the remainder of season 4 and into season 5.

Regardless, this means we get Teen Wolf season 4, episode 10 a whole day and three hours early! And that’s a good enough reason for us to be happy about it.

The official synopsis for Teen Wolf season 4, episode 10, “Monstrous,” reads:

Scott and Kira must protect Satomi’s pack from assassins; Stiles and Malia learn the origins of The Dead Pool.

Episode 10 seems like a pretty significant one for our heroes. We have to wonder how many pack members Satomi has left after the assassin The Chemist killed most of her betas. Most importantly, though, it looks like we’ll be finding out where the hitlist came from an episode after we find out who the Benefactor is, which is slated to happen in episode 9 of the show.
