At the New York Comic-Con 2013 Teen Wolf panel, it was confirmed that Teen Wolf season 4 will come to fruition.
This was confirmed for the general public on the official Teen Wolf twitter.

Although this is VERY exciting news, there will be some major deaths leading up to Teen Wolf season 4. The Teen Wolf official Twitter mysteriously tweeted out this:

We don’t want to even try and guess which one of our beloved Teen Wolf cast members will not have the opportunity to play their character in Teen Wolf season 4.
Along with the news of Teen Wolf season 4, MTV announced that a Talking Dead-like show will air each week after Teen Wolf called Wolf Watch.
The half-hour program will be hosted by the actress who plays Allison’s aunt, Kate Argent, Jill Wagner. According to TV Line, the show will “dive deeper into the mothership’s mythology, offer behind-the-scenes scoop and feature cast and ‘super fan’ appearances.”
When we last left off our Teen Wolf werewolves and humans, the Darach was killed by a power-hungry Peter. Scott, Stiles, and Allison all had darkness surrounding their hearts after sacrificing themselves (temporarily) to locate their respective parents.
As for Teen Wolf season 3B, a brand new plot involving the shape-shifting Kitsune of Japanese legend will take center-stage.
Teen Wolf season 3B will premiere on January 6 at 10 p.m. EST. Teen Wolf season 4 will air sometime in 2014.
