In a second new teaser clip for Teen Wolf season 3, we see Scott dealing with the aftermath of the sacrifice he made during the mid-season finale.

The clip begins much like Stiles’ did, with a close-up shot of Scott looking confused. A blindingly blue sky and bright sun are behind him while the girl from yesterday’s promo once again sings “Row, Row, Row Your Boat.”
Stiles is calling Scott’s name as Scott appears to see flies feasting on…something. Could that be a dead body? If not, it certainly looks like something awfully macabre. We’re just going to pretend it’s the rotting meat of something that didn’t die a horrible, horrible death.
We get a flash of Scott lying down with a bloody face while Stiles continues to try to get him to snap out of his stupor. Stiles then comes into the frame and appears to be shaking his best friend while Lydia looks on. It seems as if they’re once again back on that fateful (and unlucky) field where the boys once played lacrosse.
The final seconds of the clip are as haunting as Stiles’ promo, and we see the tagline for this season again as it flashes before us, reading, “Lose Your Mind.”

Each of these three characters have been through a lot — especially recently — so it’s no wonder that they’re being affected as severely as they are. With an emphasis on being a psychological thriller this season, we’re sure things are only going to get worse. (We’re trying not to be too excited about that.)
