In a new promo for Teen Wolf season 3, episode 4 “Unleashed,” we see Stiles worrying that he has a target on his back. Holland Roden also talks about Lydia.

The Hollywood Reporter managed to nab a clip from tonight’s episode showing Stiles fearing for his life because he’s still a virgin. Luckily, Danny comes to his rescue. Kind of.

In an interview with ET Online, Holland Roden sat down with them to talk about Lydia and how she’s grown since season 1. Roden says, “[Lydia’s love life is] not the first priority, but she does get a new love interest this season. The thing that excites me is Lydia’s true love becomes her friends.”

Compare this attitude to season 1 Lydia where all she cared about was having and being the best. She was willing to put down anyone that didn’t live up to her expectations, which included going after Scott when he became a better lacrosse player than Jackson.

Now, however, it seems as though Lydia has opened up, to Allison and Stiles especially, and has begun to truly rely on her friends in an unprecedented way. Considering what’s going on in Beacon Hills this season, we think everyone is going to need all the friends they can get!

Another interesting tidbit from Roden included her line, “There are no coincidences in Beacon Hills.” This was in response to a question about Lydia’s storyline with Peter last season and everything that’s going on this season. Lydia’s “talent” is still a huge mystery at the moment, but perhaps we’ll be finding out more about it in “Unleashed.”
