Teen Wolf season 3, episode 4 just finished airing on the East Coast! Come read a brief recap and discuss “Unleashed” with your fellow fans.

Teen Wolf season 3, episode 4 “Unleashed” started out with a young man in the vet’s office worried about his dog. It turns out that the dog had gotten into some mistletoe, which is actually poisonous to both dogs and werewolves.

As the young man leaves the vet’s office, he hears a voice that says, “Come closer,” and he’s taken away as well. Is he a part of the virgin sacrifices too?

In the next scene, we see Derek showing up in the oddest of places, as usual. This time, he’s already in Ms. Blake’s classroom by the time she gets there. After some awkward and tense conversation, Derek tells her that he’s just checking up on her. He tells her his name, and she tells him hers — Jennifer.

During cross country practice, Isaac senses the Alpha Pack twins and chases after them. They’re too fast, however, and he gets ambushed by the brotherly duo. Scott comes to his rescue, but before anything can go further, they hear a scream. Someone discovered the missing young man from earlier, tied up like the other sacrifices.

We see Cora working out in Derek’s loft next, and there’s definitely some tension between the Hales. Cora said she came back because she heard Derek was building a pack as an Alpha, but all she got was disappointment. Their argument is cut off when Ennis, Kali, and Deucalion show up.

Allison and Ms. Morrell are seemingly at an impasse. Neither one will tell the other why they were at the bank, and there’s definitely air that needs to be cleared between the two of them.

Isaac’s anger at the twins propelled him to track them down in school. But the twins were a step ahead of them. Aiden beat Ethan up and threw him at Isaac’s feet, walking away just when Harris came out of the classroom. Isaac was speechless, and Danny was right there to comfort Ethan.

Allison and Isaac have to clean out the janitor’s closet together, as they both have detention. While it’s a little tense between the two (“You stabbed me. Like twenty times. With knives.” “They were actually Chinese ring daggers.”), they seem to be warming up to each other. That’s before the door is shut and the pair are locked in.

Isaac can’t handle being in enclosed spaces after what his father did to him, so he starts to change and attacks Allison, though he doesn’t realize what he’s doing. Scott comes to their rescue, and they decide that it’s the Alpha Twins’ turn to get angry. That’s when they trick Aiden with the motorcycle, which leads him to being suspended.

Back with Deucalion, we learn that Alphas take their betas’ powers when they kill them. This is why Deucalion is so strong, and why he calls himself the Demon Wolf.

Next, Lydia ends up in the wrong class, but this is where she discovers a recording and hears some pretty ominous chanting. With the help of the vet, they realize the next set of three that are being taken had some connection to the military.

When they go searching for Harris, they can’t find him. However, his papers spell out the word Darach, which Deaton says is what happens when a Druid goes down the wrong path and becomes a Dark Oak.

In the end, we see Harris tied to a tree and killed by someone just off frame, and Isaac finds a new home with Scott after Derek kicked him out.
