In a new sneak peek from Teen Wolf season 3, episode 17, “Silverfinger,” we learn that the masked men are searching for a dark spirit.
The real question is whether or not Kira is that dark spirit. She certainly thinks it’s a possibility, but Scott doesn’t believe it to be true.

“I’m right, aren’t it?” Kira asks. “They’re looking for me.” She’s in a house with several of the werewolves — a house that’s also surrounded by the masked men.
“They’re looking for a dark spirit,” Scott explains to her. “And I know it’s not you.”
The twins and Derek are also there, the latter of which tells Scott to make a decision, and fast. “Don’t do anything,” Scott says. We don’t quite know what his game plan is, and it seems like the others don’t as well. But Scott is adamant about not engaging with the warriors. That’s probably a safe plan considering we learned in the last episode that they can’t be killed in the traditional way.
Unfortunately, if the promo for next week’s episode is anything to go by, it looks like not doing anything isn’t exactly going to be an option. We see both Derek and Scott getting into a fight with the masked men, and though Scott tosses one out the window, we’re not sure who will be winning this one.
With so many questions still unanswered about these warriors, we can’t wait to see how the next episode plays out. Who’s the dark spirit? What does that have to do with the symbols that were branded onto Isaac, Ethan, Aiden, Lydia, and Derek’s necks? Will someone else get branded in season 3, episode 17, “Silverfinger”?
