In a new clip from Teen Wolf season 3, episode 13, titled “Anchors,” we see Scott losing control of his powers in the middle of school.

The video is introduced by Tyler Posey, who plays Scott, and quickly delves into the heart of the problem.
Scott, it seems, is starting to change right in the middle of Beacon Hills’ hallways. His eyes start to glow, and Stiles begs him to keep it under control. It seems the teen wolf can’t, however, and Stiles leads his best friend into an empty classroom while Kira looks on from a distance, confused.
In the classroom, Scott warns Stiles to get away from him because he doesn’t know what’s going to happen. In order to fight off the change, Scott pierces his hands with his own claws, declaring that, “Pain makes you human.”
“Scott, this isn’t just in our heads,” Stiles says as he looks at his friend. “This is real.”
In the winter season of Teen Wolf, our heroes will be dealing with the consequences of the mid-season finale when they took the place of their parents and sacrificed themselves to the Nemeton. They survived, of course, but the cost will be great, and it will stick with them for the rest of their lives as a darkness around their hearts.
And although we know the trio will be having plenty of hallucinations this year, we also know from the clip above that it’s very real as well.
Teen Wolf season 3, episode 13, “Anchors,” is only four days away, Wolf Pack! The mid-season premiere will take place on January 6, at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
