In a new video interview, Bianca Lawson, Max and Charlie Carver, and Holland Roden all comment on what we can expect during the upcoming 12 episodes of Teen Wolf season 3.

You can check out the interview in full below, which was conducted by Celebified.

Bianca Lawson, who plays the enigmatic guidance counselor Ms. Morrell, starts the video off right, saying we can expect Teen Wolf season 3B to be “even darker.”

It’s hard to imagine something like that considering what our main trio had to sacrifice in the previous 12 episodes, but we have faith that the writers still have a lot of torturous scenes in store for us.

But what about Ms. Morrell in particular? “You’re going to see more of her. You’re going to see her in new situations. Where she really stands is going to be more clear,” Lawson tells Celebified.

We’re excited to see more of Morrell because it feels like she holds a lot of answers that maybe even Deaton, the vet and Scott’s boss, doesn’t have. And we’re especially curious to find out what she’s going to do now that the Alpha Pack is no more.

Max Carver, who plays Lydia’s love interest Aiden, had a lot to say about the next 12 episodes, and emphasized what Lawson said about the season being darker. “The Nemeton has opened, and the world looks completely different,” he says. “You can certainly expect some surprises.”

At the end of the first 12 episodes of Teen Wolf season 3, we knew that the Nemeton would become a beacon for supernatural creatures, who would start heading toward Beacon Hills, being drawn in by the tree. This is, supposedly, how we get the Kitsune involved in next year’s plot, but it sounds like there could also be a lot more in store for us!

Meanwhile, Holland Roden, who plays Lydia, also attested to the darkness of this season (“It’s darker because we’re sort of veering away from the high school plot lines.”), but talked a lot more about relationships. While Max Carver said there’s no love triangle between his character, Lydia, and Stiles, Roden feels differently. She says that is still very much in play, and that she wishes there could be more time to explore her relationship with Aiden.

What’s most interesting, however, it that Roden says, “There’s a new girl in town, and [Lydia] puts up the Tracy Flick wall, and it’s not very nice to the new girl.” Interesting! This was a segue from talking about being Stiles’ sidekick, so perhaps Lydia is feeling a little jealous of the new girl (who is, presumably, Kira)? Could she be Stiles’ new love interest?
