Teen Wolf season 3 is just six days away, and the cast is teasing what we can expect from old and new characters alike.

You can check out the video below, which features Tyler Posey (Scott), Holland Roden (Lydia), Dylan O’Brien (Stiles), JR Bourne (Chris Argent), and Ian Bohen (Peter Hale).

Roden starts out by saying the battle lines have been drawn in the sand. This year we’ll see a whole pack of alpha werewolves, and they will be the antagonists for our favorite Beacon Hills characters. It’s going to be a tough fight, and there’s a reason why the tagline this year is, “This Might Hurt.”

“The scope is bigger,” says Bohen. “The world that the characters live in and what’s happening becomes larger.” This is in part due to the fact that we’ll be getting a lot more mythology this season, and we’ll be delving deeper into how the Teen Wolf universe operates.

Roden also says that the old characters become closer this season as they fight against the new characters. However, that doesn’t mean everyone is on the same page. While Derek appears to just want to fight the Alpha Pack off, Scott is much more interested in talking to them, figuring out what they want, and negotiating with them. The problem is that this might not work out so well for him.

O’Brien goes on to say that Stiles’ presence in the world of the werewolves is becoming much more like a job, and he’s essentially turning into his father, the Sheriff, as he works out and tries to solve the mysteries. We still don’t know much about Deaton’s role this season, but could it be possible that he takes Stiles under his wing as Stiles gets more accustomed to the supernatural world? Deaton did, after all, look after the Hale family years ago.

Bourne sums up the season by saying there’s more fighting, more angst, and more struggle for all the characters in season 3. “It feels like an amazing and very authentic look at these relationships,” he finishes.
