Videos are now online for the Teen Wolf panel that took place this past weekend at the New York Comic-Con. Jeff Davis and Tyler Posey were present and talk about everything from Colton Haynes’ departure to season 3 spoilers.

The panel starts right off with a discussion about Colton Haynes leaving Teen Wolf. “I spoke to Colton last night, actually,” Davis says. “And, unfortunately, he did confirm to me that he is not coming back to the show.” He goes on to say that it is disappointing news, but that Haynes is a friend and they’re going to leave the door open for him to come back. “I think Colton has to do what’s best for him and his career, and I have no doubt that someone as talented as Colton will have have little trouble finding work.”

The moderator had previously requested questions to ask the duo while they were at NYCC, and the number one question was — you guessed it — Sterek! Just dropping the name seemed to send the audience into a frenzy. Davis dodges the bullet a little bit here and asks about other ships with Stiles – him with Lydia or him with Allison, for instance. The audience in general didn’t particularly seem to like those options, and it’s probably a safe bet that most of them were pro-Sterek.

Posey then asks, “Why am I not included in any of this?” Oh, the moderator says, they’ve got a question about that, too. He mentions Scissac and the audience screams once again. “I like that pairing,” says Davis. But, on a more serious note, Davis talks about the bromance triangle going on between Stiles, Scott, and Isaac this coming season. Isaac will definitely feature more – like what we saw on the first page of the script that was recently revealed. Apparently there’s going to be an action-packed motorcycle chase!

Next they talk about Stiles and how he will become a pseudo-detective this coming season, having a big moment in episodes two and three. Of particular note here, Davis mentions that both Scott and Stiles have moved on from Allison and Lydia, as four months have passed since the finale of season 2. They’re also going to be juniors this year! And they’re going to need “new blood,” Davis says.

Scott will also become more of a leader this season, and Davis says that they’ve selected a quote from Twelfth Night to represent the overall arc for season 3: “Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.” He then says that Derek was born great, Peter achieved greatness, and Scott had greatness thrust upon him. He’ll have to learn to accept that this season.

Following some quick-fire questions with hilarious answers, the moderator brings it back around to season 3. Davis talks about the open casting for the alpha twins, and mentions that the pack is five-strong. He also mentions that there’s an alpha to this Alpha pack, which they refer to as the “Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last.”

Although there doesn’t seem to be any other official videos just yet (we’ll bring you more if they come online), you can read some additional spoilers, thanks to this great article from someone who was able to attend on DarkMedia.
