A Teen Wolf movie revival is officially on the way over at Paramnount+ with original series creator Jeff Davis already on board to return.

In a press release posted by Paramount+, the streamer announced on Friday (September 24) that the forthcoming movie revival is part of a new partnership between Davis and MTV Entertainment Studio.

As part of the new multi-year deal, Jeff Davis will spearhead a few new series for Paramount+ including an adaptation of author Emo Van Belkom’s Wolf Pack series, and an Aeon Flux live action reboot.

In addition, he’ll also serve as both writer and executive producer on the forthcoming Teen Wolf movie revival.

Excitingly, today’s big news also comes with word that talks are already underway to bring back original series cast members for the movie revival.

So what can fans expect from the forthcoming feature? Per the official synopsis on Paramount+, the forthcoming film will find fans returning to Beacon Hills where a terrifying evil has emerged.

The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to right back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.

The exciting news of the Teen Wolf revival movie comes on the fourth anniversary of the series finale on MTV.

Also announced today (September 24) is that Paramount+ will be the new home of the complete series. Beginning in December 2021, fans will be able to stream all 100 episodes via the streamer.

Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see the Teen Wolf movie revival premiere via Paramount+
