Now that we’ve all had a few days to start the recovery from that fabulous Teen Wolf series finale, it’s time to take a look back at all the familiar faces we saw in the final 10 episodes.

When it comes to Teen Wolf, it’s hard to know when dead or gone is truly dead or gone. Characters pop up all the time that you previously thought were gone for good. In that spirit, there were more than a few surprising returns in the final stretch of Teen Wolf, and we wanted to pay homage to all the not-so-main-cast characters.

Dylan O’Brien as Mieczyslaw ‘Stiles’ Stilinski

Okay, so Dylan O’Brien is not exactly a guest star, but you could qualify his presence in the finale as a cameo, since Stiles’ story was pretty well wrapped in the first 10 episodes of season 6. We are always glad to get more though, so we couldn’t have been happier that he and his good pal Derek showed up for the final fight of this Teen Wolf story.

Susan Walters as Natalie Martin

Susan Walters has been around since that infamous parent teacher conference episode in season 1, and has appeared time and again as Lydia’s mom. We love her, and we are more than glad that she got to play a bigger part in the latter part of the series, especially as the history of the banshee come to prominence.

John Posey as Dr. Conrad Fenris

It was so much fun to see Tyler Posey’s dad get a chance to show his stuff as Dr. Conrad Fenris one last time, especially as his goals were pretty much always on the opposite side of those of his off-screen son throughout the series.

Orny Adams as Coach Bobby Finstock

Coach. Who doesn’t love Coach? He’s a brilliant dose of levity when this series gets too deep into its own mythology. Finstock is very close to our hearts, and we will miss his stunning one liners the most, even if his final moments with Liam and Nolan were more touching than outright hysterical.

Cody Saintgnue as Brett Talbot

Brett Talbot popped in and out throughout the years, especially when Scott needed another pack to bounce ideas off of, or help taking down a particular nasty foe. We may not have known him well, but he is instantly recognizable to loyal Teen Wolf fans, especially when he’s on the lacrosse field.

Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale

Derek, Derek, Derek. We have missed you so very much. His brief appearance in the season 6B premiere was absolutely hysterical, and his unnecessary flipping about in the finale was a nod to the beloved Derek Hale we all have missed so much.

Jill Wagner as Kate Argent

We love to hate Kate Argent, but it was fun to see her one last time, especially since she was tasked with *hopefully* taking out the man who has caused more than his share of mischief. Plus we got to see that remarkable blue werejaguar makeup again, which is just seriously cool.

Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore

Jackson Whittemore played such a distinct and intense role in the first two seasons of Teen Wolf that it just would have seemed wrong not to have him around for the finale. When you add in his attachment to the next character on our list, it made his contributions to the final few episodes that much more fun.

Charlie Carver as Ethan Steiner

Ethan has always been a part of a pair. Whether it was with his twin Aiden, his former lover Danny, or his newest boy toy Jackson, he is a loyal and faithful friend and an even more loyal significant other. We could not have been happier to have him back for the end of Teen Wolf, as he has played a number of roles along the way.

Matthew Del Negro as Rafael McCall

Scott’s dad may have shown up and caused a bunch of trouble in his season 3 debut, but now he is a trusted member of the team. It was nice to get a chance to say goodbye to Agent McCall, and to see him willing to team up with his son no matter what their twisted history may look like.

Todd Williams as Dr. Geyer

He was never a major player, but Liam’s stepdad, Dr. Geyer, did get a chance to show his stuff one more time in the final stretch. He proved a valuable friend and ally to have, especially as pretty much every character has spent some time in the hospital at one time or another.

Gideon Emery as Deucalion

From the fiercest of enemies to the best of friends, Deucalion’s return to help Scott learn to fight without his eyes was the perfect way to say goodbye to this vivid character. His final moments showed he was a good man who may have been misguided for a few years there, but he fought the good fight when it truly counted.

Aaron Hendry as Brunski

AKA the man we hate, hate, hate in all the ways. Brunski was a terrible character who did nothing but cause trouble from the moment he appeared, and who kept more than one character hostage in Eichen House throughout the years. He earned a spot in these final episodes as he proved such a resilient pain in the ass every time he showed his face.

Hayley Webb as Jennifer Blake

Last, but most certainly never least, we have the inimitable Jennifer Blake. Hayley Webb was a brilliant force in the first part of season 3, and it was a damn shame that her character had to be put down due to her absolutely insane ideas. Thank goodness Jeff Davis found a way to bring her back for one last moment as a part of the Teen Wolf world. It was a thrill to see her back on our screens.
