Teen Wolf‘s executive producer, Jeff Davis, fields more questions ahead of season 3, episode 9 “The Girl Who Knew Too Much.” Here are the 10 most important answers.

Davis once again answered a slew of questions, and we’ve pulled 10 of the most interesting ones from the official Tumblr to offer a little speculation.

amazonian-warrior: Will you bring back Talia Hale? she’s so strong, wise and ‘womanly.’ I’m in love with her character.

Davis: we would love to bring back Talia. Alicia Coppola was amazing in just those few scenes. I’d actually like to see her in a fight scene.

The response to Alicia Coppola’s Talia Hale has been overwhelmingly positive, and it looks like Davis feels the same way as the fans. In order to get more Talia, presumably that would mean we would need more flashback episodes. Perhaps that could be arranged if we learn more about Derek’s father, his sister, or even his relationship with Kate?

loverunes: If Gage/Erica was still on the show, where would she be? Did you ever have a planned love interest for her?

Davis: We did actually. We had planned a relationship between Erica and Boyd.

When Gage Golightly left the show, many fans were disappointed. Having finally warmed up to her character, it was sad to see her go. She got a proper sendoff, albeit a tragic one, and it’s painful to learn what kind of storyline she would’ve been involved in. At the same time, however, it is nice to know that her and Boyd were on the cusp of a romantic relationship.

imwillly: Is there any hope that there will be a season 4?

Davis: I believe the network would like to do a season 4. It depends on a variety of factors. Ratings, DVR numbers. And I have to decide as well if I’m going to do the next season or hand the reins off to someone else. There are always a number of considerations when deciding on another season.

Although season 3 is not even half over, fans are rabid for more Teen Wolf. And they should be. This season has seen MTV bringing in some of its highest numbers for the show, and we can only see those ratings going up. While MTV would be crazy not to green light a season 4, we can see why Davis would want to hand over all that work to someone else.

whatthehale27: Are Peter’s eyes blue because he killed Laura? Or is it something in his past we haven’t seen yet?

Davis: His past.

Fans were speculating about Peter’s blue eyes, which we saw for the first time earlier this season. While many thought that perhaps it was because he killed Laura in order to become the Alpha, that’s apparently not the case. Did he kill someone for power or prestige? Or could it have been a similar situation to Derek’s?

coryyellow: Can you please stop torturing Derek Hale?

Davis: Eventually, yes.

Ah, the life of Derek Hale. It’s so tragic, and yet so necessary to the story. It’s good news to hear that Derek’s life may not be so torturous in upcoming episodes, but which other character(s) will have to suffer for the sake of Derek’s relief?

dontforget-to-simplylive: What episode will the Stydia kiss be in??

Davis: 311, which is called “Alpha Pact.”

The kiss between Stiles and Lydia that we saw in the mid-season finale trailer shocked and excited a lot of fans. While no one is quite sure what brought the kiss on, it was nice to see nonetheless. The only problem is that we still have to wait three episodes to find out what happens!

corinthiahale: Here’s a question for Jeff: During “Visionary,” the audience could see the truth of what happened in the flashbacks versus the lies that Peter and Gerard were telling the teenagers. Should we then assume that we know everything about the stories that there is to know, or should we be suspicious that there are more details to the memories that were left out and have yet to be revealed?

Davis: I wouldn’t assume that you actually saw all of the truth.

Much of the fandom was sure that the clue about unreliable narrators was important, but no one was quite sure to what extent. Now that we’ve learned what we saw may not be the whole truth, we’ll be curious to see what actually happened to Paige and Deucalion and how much of what we saw was a lie.

longlostcorahale: Are we ever going to find out where Cora has been for the past six years?

Davis: She was actually in South America. Very important reason actually. Can’t tell you just yet.

Interesting! Many fans are wondering how much they can trust Cora. Is it a coincidence that she’s been in South America and that the Kanima myth is, apparently, of a South American origin? Would this perhaps have been more important if Jackson Whittemore hadn’t left for England?

myalphatwins: Are the Carver twins going to leave?

Davis: They will be in the winter season. After that we don’t know.

We knew that a couple of the new characters from season 3a would carry over to season 3b, and now we know who! It’s interesting that the twins will be the ones to carry on, and we have to wonder if it’s because both of them had a change of heart, or if it was just one that convinced the other as well.

steakarequin: Can we get the title of the 3a finale?

Davis: “Lunar Ellipse.” That’s not a misspelling.

An interesting title to say the least. There has been talk about a lunar eclipse several episodes ago when Erica brought it up to Boyd. But with the use of ellipse, we have to wonder what sort of significance it has. An ellipse is mathematical term, denoting a specific kind of shape. It’ll be interesting to see where they take this.
