Teen Wolf‘s executive producer, Jeff Davis, fields more questions ahead of season 3, episode 4 “Unleashed.” Here are the 10 most important answers.

Davis once again answered a slew of questions, and we’ve pulled 10 of the most interesting ones from the official Tumblr to offer a little speculation.

lunatalib: will we find out why cora didn’t try to find derek over the past 6-7 years?

Davis: you understand more details tomorrow night.

This is definitely something that has been bugging fans of the show. If Cora has been alive this whole time, why hadn’t she found her brother before now? Much of the fandom thinks it might be because she has been within Deucalion’s grasp since the fire and that she’s actually still working with him.

hollandoden: will lyida have any life-threatening scenes?

Davis: more than one unfortunately as she develops her “talent.”

While Lydia’s “talent” is still unknown, there are plenty of theories regarding what exactly she is or what she’s capable of. Unfortunately, it looks like this talent is going to put her front and center, and that is certainly a dangerous place to be at this point in Beacon Hills. As far as we know, Lydia is still human despite have some interesting powers, so we just hope she’s extra careful around those Alphas!

wizardschessforron: is papa stilinski going to finally learn about everything? i can only assume that everything would be 90% easier with him on their side.

Davis: that question is raised in the episode we’re cutting right now. there is a scene between scott and stiles where they argue about whether he’s safer not knowing or knowing.

It appears that the episode they’re editing right now is season 3, episode 9, and this is the one where Stiles and Scott discuss the sheriff and if they should clue him into what’s going on around town. Papa Stilinski already seems pretty suspicious, but does he have any clue as to what’s actually going on? We’re not sure. We just hope that he doesn’t find out only to be put in danger and — *gulp* — killed off!

condom: is there another creature amongst beacon hills? (other than wolves & alphas)

Davis: another villain yes. but another creature? you’ll have to wait and see.

This must be in reference to the supposed virgin sacrifices. Something else appears to be hanging around Beacon Hills that looks like it’s separate from the Alpha Pack. If you’ve been listening to Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast, you’ll know that we’re a fan of the idea that Gerard is behind the killings. This would certainly fit into what Davis said. He’s definitely a villain, but is he a creature? Has he turned into something else after what happened to him at the end of season 2?

multifandomshitshow: why haven’t stiles and scott danced on top of a moving van?

Davis: because when the Teen Wolf movie came out people did the same thing in real life and were getting seriously hurt.

If you guys have seen the original Teen Wolf movie, you’ll know that this was quite a hilarious and iconic scene. Fans of the film have been wondering if Davis would be pulling any more references from the original, but it looks like this one is off the list — and probably for good reason.

madamovary: how big is beacon hills? is it a small town or like a small city?

Davis: i compare it to the town i grew up, milford, ct. it’s a regular suburban town but you can get to the city pretty fast. new haven was only five minutes away. we imagine derek’s loft to be in a downtown la or new haven type of city.

Ah, the age-old question of how large Beacon Hills is. We’ve been wondering this since the beginning, when everyone assumed that BH was a fairly small town. Then it kept expanding, right up to Derek’s loft, which definitely has a city feel to it. Looks like we now have a solid reference for its size, though. Thanks, Jeff Davis!

spideys-sidekick: what the heck is ms. morrell’s problem? i thought she and deaton were working together! why is she hanging around the leader of the alphas? does that make deaton a bad guy too?

Davis: she would not consider herself a bad guy. you’ll find out why.

Ms. Morrell has been quite an enigmatic character since we first saw her in season 2. She hangs out with Deaton, who is quite helpful to Scott & Co., but she was also seen helping Deucalion, leader of the Alpha Pack. Most bad guys don’t necessarily consider themselves villains, so the real question here is: Is Morrell operating in shades of gray, or is she an actual villain?

ladyofwhitechapel: will we ever get a lesbian character who lives for more than 1 episode?

Davis: you just did. played by the very talented zelda williams. i’m hoping to bring her back.

Williams’ role was not large in “Fireflies,” but it was quite important. She reported that she saw a woman with glowing eyes, fangs and claws, which added one more tally to the sheriff’s “Something Weird Is Going On Around Here” list. She also survived that little camping trip, which enabled her to lead Stiles to an important part of the mystery: all of the victims had been virgins. Bringing Williams back would be fun, but we would definitely wonder what her role would entail. Could she be let in on the Beacon Hills secret as well, since she already saw Cora in the woods?

colethewolf: does cora know that peter killed laura?

Davis: yep.

This will surely make for an interesting confrontation between the two. We don’t know what Cora’s relationship with her sister was like, but it’s safe to say she’s going to hold a grudge against Peter for killing her, if only on principle alone. On the other hand, Peter wasn’t in his right mind as far as we know, and it’s not like Cora has been out in the woods trying to catch bunny rabbits. Will she perhaps be more sympathetic to him after all?

iheartunicornsyaa: why did you make the leader of the alphas ( i cannot spell his name) blind

Davis: it’s a very important part of the story. you’ll see. :).

The fandom has put two and two together and realized that Deucalion and Gerard knew each other at some point in time. But the extent of their relationship is still unknown, as is the extent of Deucalion’s relationship with Chris Argent. A popular theory states that it’s quite possible Chris was the one who had blinded Deucalion, so the obvious followup question would be, is Deucalion in Beacon Hills for revenge?

What are you most looking forward to in tomorrow night’s season 3, episode 4 ‘Unleashed’?
