It’s a new era for the kids of Teen Mom OG when they start kindergarten tonight on episode 2!
On the premiere episode of Teen Mom OG fans got to catch up with Catelynn, Maci, and Amber. Right away Catelynn and Tyler found out that their efforts to have another baby have been successful. Despite thinking that they’re in a good place to have a child, haters keep on hating. Although Catelynn would like to get married before the baby comes, Tyler thinks they should stick with their original plan to have it in a year.
At the Couples Therapy reunion, Catelynn and Tyler had it out with Farrah who said she is disappointed in them. After some yelling, they came to a breakthrough when she admitted to regretting her stint with pornography.
Amber was happy to be out of prison, sober, and moving into her new home. Although Gary has custody of Leah, the pair are getting along and happily lets Amber watch their daughter for the night. But the next day, Amber’s mom got her down when she said Gary isn’t to be trusted.
Amber does get upset when she hears Gary talking about going on vacation with his new girlfriend and taking Leah with him. It’s safe to say that these two are just as complicated as ever.
Maci is in the final stretch for her college degree and has a weekly radio show. Her former long distance boyfriend Taylor has also moved in with her and Bentley. When it was time for Bentley to spend the weekend with his Dad Ryan, things went down hill. Bentley didn’t want to go on a trip with Ryan and his girlfriend but Maci seems to talk him into it.
She’s worried that Bentley doesn’t get enough time with Ryan. So Maci asked Ryan’s mom for advice, who admitted that her son is difficult and suggested emailing him. Maci still isn’t sure, but Taylor encouraged her to keep trying to communicate with Ryan.
On ‘Teen Mom OG’ season 1, episode 2, ‘Back to School’:
“Cate and Tyler plan a party to go public with their baby’s gender; Maci has a hard time believing Bentley is starting kindergarten; Gary asks Amber to help out with Leah’s first day of kindergarten.”
