Last night on Teen Mom OG the moms made some big changes in their lives and looked on into the future.
Catelynn
Nova is two months old and finally sleeping through the night. Cate and Tyler have been invited to appear on a show about adoption and it has them wondering if they should switch to formula feeding. Cate is clearly struggling with the decision and Tyler says it’s up to her. They decide to ask April to watch Nova for a few days, but Cate is still a little nervous.
Even though they miss Nova while they’re gone, April is loving the time alone with her granddaughter. On The Doctors Tyler and Cate talk about their decision to place Carly for adoption. They’re happy to be able to teach a different audience about the topic.
Cate gets a call form Teresa and finds out that Carly isn’t going to the Teen Mom OG reunion show. Although they’re excited to see Teresa they’re bummed that Carly won’t get to meet Nova.
Back at home, Cate is excited to have Nova back. They break the news about Carly missing the reunion. April is pretty sad about it but hopes that Teresa will become more comfortable.
Amber
Gary is worried that Amber has jumped into a relationship with someone she doesn’t know, especially since the tabloids are reporting about Matt’s dark past. Meanwhile, Amber and Matt go out to dinner with Crystal and talk about what’s going on, he says that what the tabloids are saying is false.
Leah gets sick at school so Gary asks Amber to pick her up, but when Amber doesn’t answer Christina goes instead. So Amber gets upset and they get into an argument. Later, Amber and Matt pick up Leah from Gary’s house and keep it civil. They bring her to a hotel to cheer her up and it seems to work.
Because she seems better, Amber decides not to bring Leah to the doctors. And Gary is not happy about it.
Amber meets up with her family later and they’re still worried about Matt. They think that their relationship is moving very quickly. She assures her family that if Matt ever lies to her than he’ll be kicked out of her house.
Maci
With the pregnancy clock ticking, Taylor and Maci talk about what kind of house they want to move into. After looking at houses all day, they finally find one that they both love. So they decide to put an offer in but want to make sure that they could move in before the baby is born.
When the sellers counter them back, Taylor and Maci accept which means it’s time to get ready to move. They go to lunch with their friends and break the news. Of course the topic of marriage comes up again, and Maci says she’s tired of talking about it.
A few days before the big move, Taylor goes shopping for an engagement ring. A talk with his friends after doesn’t ease any of his nerves.
Luckily on moving day Taylor and Maci get lots of help from friends. They get excited to get the nursery ready. And Taylor tells Maci that when they get engaged he wants to surprise her.
Farrah
Simon is going to visit Texas and meet Sophia for the first time. She’s worried that things might not work out if he doesn’t get along with Sophia. Farrah is a nervous wreck and her mood rubs off on Sophia who starts acting out the moment they pick up Simon.
Later, they go out to dinner with Farrah’s dad Michael. That meeting seems to go a lot better, and Michael is impressed with what he sees.
When Farrah and Simon get some alone time, she’s worried that he’s been too quiet. When she wants to talk about their future Simon says he doesn’t know what to say. By the end of the trip he seems to be tired of having Sophia all over him.
Everything gets weird with Simon, and he stops answering her phone calls. Farrah tells her mom that she’s worried he’s selfish. Debbie doesn’t want his attitude affecting Sophia.
