The first teaser poster for Ted 2 has just arrived. Is a trailer on its way?
The 2012 breakout comedy Ted was a success in part because of its terrifically funny crude humor, and the new Ted 2 teaser poster wants you to know that this sequel will bring more of the same.
The poster just debuted on Yahoo Movies. Check it out here:
It’s not a surprise given that the film won’t see its release until June, but press for Ted 2 has been pretty dormant. The first still from the film was released in mid-December, and we haven’t seen anything since then.
Press will likely continue to steadily ramp up in the next few months, and the first trailer will hit this Thursday. We’ll bring it to you immediately when it’s released.
Ted had a great cast, and the Ted 2 cast is looking perhaps even better. Joining Seth MacFarlane, Mark Wahlberg, and Sam Jones are Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, and Morgan Freeman, among others.
We currently don’t know too much about the plot of Ted 2. We do know that at some point during the film Ted will need to seek out legal counsel. The lawyer he contacts will be played by Morgan Freeman.
It’ll be interesting to see how they explain the disappearance of Mila Kunis’ character. It’s a bit strange that she won’t be returning given that she was well liked in Ted, but there may be a very good reason storywise for her departure.
