A teaser for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power has been released, and it’s full of fun, magic, and empowering storytelling.
There has been a lot of press surrounding the new She-Ra series, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. The iconic hero’s new look caused quite a bit of controversy among fans of the series from the ’80s, spurring a huge internet debate about her. But for the most part, many were incredibly excited to see Dreamworks and Netflix’s new series with the beloved hero.

After checking out the teaser trailer for the show, we’re all even more excited about what this new show has to offer fans new and old, child and adult. The details in this teaser are understandably sparse, but it absolutely gets you pumped up and ready to go on adventures with She-Ra.
This trailer has got us all in for this new show. She-Ra feels both relatable and like someone we admire and want to be like as she looks to the path before her with uncertainty, but she bravely steps up to answer the call of destiny.
The animation style is different from the series from the ’80s, but the show’s new feel has got us pretty excited. The show feels fresh while still staying true to the character. Plus, the Sailor Moon-style magical girl vibes, knowing the series’ showrunner is talented Lumberjames creator Noelle Stevenson, and that utterly badass scene where she accepts the Sword of Protection and shouts “For the honor of Grayskull!” has got us convinced that this series is going to be one you just can’t miss.
