After the success of Airport for Birds, StarKid has announced 1Night 2Last 3Ever, an all-new sketch comedy show in conjunction with Second City.

Hot off the heels of Twisted, (StarKid’s latest parody musical which recently completed a sold out run at Chicago’s Greenhouse Theater) the ensemble already have a new project ready to premiere in September.

Team StarKid returns to Second City’s UP Comedy Club in Chicago with 1Night 2Last 3Ever, a sketch comedy show based around fictional boyband 3Ever.

After their success this spring with Airport For Birds, Team StarKid is BACK at UP Comedy Club with all new material. Known for creating heartfelt parody musicals for YouTube, Team StarKid now brings you a sketch show with a bit of Pop-Nostalgia, featuring that classic boy-band, 3Ever! There are enough laughs as a Fruit-by-the-Foot is long (approximately 90 minutes)!  So grab your Skip-It, pack a lunch, and join us at The Second City’s UP Comedy Club for 1Night 2Last 3Ever.

As the quote mentions, StarKid first came to Second City last winter with Airport for Birds, the group’s first sketch comedy production under the Team StarKid banner. The show, which ran weekly on Sunday nights, enjoyed sold out audiences and an extended run, culminating with a StageIt livestream of the final performance.

Second City bills itself as “the world’s premier comedy club/theatre and school of improvisation,” and Zagat calls it “the most famous of its kind in the country.” Alumni include Joan Rivers, John Belushi, Bill Murray, Dan Castellaneta, Mike Myers, Tina Fey, Eric Stonestreet, Steve Carell, and Stephen Colbert.

1Night 2Last 3Ever will feature a cast of seven – Jeff Blim, Denise Donovan, Lauren Lopez, Pat Rourke, Meredith Stepien, Daniel Strauss and Joe Walker, with direction by Brian Holden, and music direction by Nick Gage.

The show is currently set to run for five Sundays – September 15, September 29, October 6, October 13 and October 27. Tickets are on sale now at UP Comedy Club with VIP packages available.
