Taylor Swift has released the third single off her upcoming Reputation album, titled “Gorgeous.” Are you ready for it?

The third Swift single off Reputation is a little softer than the previous “…Ready For It?” and “Look What You Made Me Do,” but still maintains a similar electro-pop sound that will likely characterize the whole album.

“Gorgeous” is less abrasive than the previous two songs, maintaining a pretty steady beat throughout and is reminiscent of the ‘old Taylor’ (the rumors of her death have clearly been exaggerated).

It’s a good bop, and has already risen to the top of the iTunes charts — though a cursory glance at fan reactions shows a somewhat divided opinion.

In the song, Taylor sings about meeting a “gorgeous” person with “ocean-blue eyes,” who leaves her “curious” despite having a boyfriend who’s “older than us.” This gorgeous person makes her “so happy it turns back to sad,” and has “ruined my life by not being mine.”

But let’s forget speculating about who she’s singing about for now. The highlight of this song is definitely the mystery child voice saying “gorgeous” at the beginning — and of course when Taylor name-drops her cats!
