Taylor Swift has used social media to announce her next studio album. Reputation drops November 10.

The first single, the title of which is still a mystery, will be released Thursday night. The album art for Reputation appears to have been revealed as well — it looks like Taylor will be talking about the way she’s been perceived in the media:

Day 6 (August 23): A continuation of the previous teaser video was released Wednesday morning, and our suspicious were correct: The video is showing a snake. Her first single from the new album is expected to drop this Friday, August 25.

Day 4 (August 21): All was quiet over the weekend, but Taylor’s Twitter account finally has up its “first” tweet related to the new single/album: A “broken” shot of… a snake? Her haters would say she’s referencing herself. Watch below:

Day 1: On Friday afternoon Swift’s Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and official website were all cleared of their various profile pictures and designs. Her Instagram has lost all of her photos and her Twitter has no tweets.

There’s been no further comment from Swift or her representatives. Most fans believe the social media purging coupled with the silence means a new single and/or her new album is getting very close to release.

New music typically debuts on Friday at midnight, but given Swift’s massive popularity, she doesn’t need to follow any rules. Her new music or new album could arrive as soon as this weekend — or maybe she’s going to make us wait a little while longer.

Interestingly, it was three years ago today that Swift announced her most recent studio album, 1989. The wildly successful pop album was released in late October.

It looks like an exciting weekend to be a Swiftie. Stay tuned!
