Taylor Swift is gearing up to make her grand return to NBC’s hit singing competition series, The Voice.

The Voice is pretty well known by now for enlisting the help from some music’s biggest acts as they search high and low for the next bit star.

Now, it looks like this year’s contestants will have the added benefit of learning from one of the best in the business!

On Monday (September 16), the network announced that Taylor Swift would officially be making her big return to the hit singing competition series as season 17’s Mega Mentor.

Swift’s involvement on the reality competition show marks the second time she’s served as a Mega Mentor, having first worked with aspiring musicians on season 7.

As part of her Mega Mentoring duties, Taylor Swift will show up during The Voice’s high stakes Knockout Rounds where contestants battle it out in the ring against a fellow teammate.

Before they hit the stage to sing for their lives, they’ll get to work with Swift on their songs.

The Voice took to its official Twitter account to share the good news of Taylor Swift’s involvement with season 17.

They broke the news with the help of coaches John Legend and Blake Shelton, who filmed a short video featuring Taylor Swift herself. Watch it below!

Swift isn’t the only mega music star joining returning coaches Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Blake Shelton.

In addition, NBC has previous revealed that season 17 will also find artists Normani, Will.i.am, Usher, and Darius Rucker coming in to serve as team-specific members. They’ll be helping out with Team Kelly, Team Gwen, Team Legend, and Team Blake, respectively.

The Voice season 17 premieres Monday, September 23 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
