Swifties can now interact with Taylor Swift like never before with her new app, “The Swift Life.”
The intention of the app is to create a safe, positive space where her fans can interact with her, and each other. The app features “Taymojis,” and exclusive news, photos, and video content on which fans can comment and interact. App users can also post their own photos and videos, and use a feature called “SwiftSends” to send posts directly to Taylor Swift.
Other features of “The Swift Life” include the ability to see the posts that Taylor Swift has “liked.” Since that’s usually a full-time job for hardcore Swifties on social media platforms like Tumblr, “The Swift Life” should make things much easier!
While it might seem doubtful that a star as massive as Taylor Swift would actually use a platform like this to have meaningful interactions with fans, the way that Swift has used her social media, up until this point, might indicate that she’s the exception.
The singer is famous for what she calls #taylurking on the posts of her fans, often reposting them. She’s even been known to send personalized gifts to some of her most loyal social media followers.
“The Swift Life” is sure to change Taylor Swift’s social media presence, so let’s hope it becomes a useful, positive way for Swifties to interact with Miss Swift, herself.
