Taylor Swift fans won’t have to wait long before they can experience the singer’s new version of Fearless.

Swifties have long since known that Taylor Swift has been hard at work rerecording her old albums in the wake of the drama surrounding the ownership of her masters.

Now, it’s looking like fans of the pop star won’t have to wait much longer before they can get their hands on the singer’s new version of Fearless.

The Lover crooner took to social media early Thursday (February 11) morning to reveal that her rerecorded version of the album she dropped 13 years ago is officially coming soon.

In the tweet, she also let slip that the new version of Fearless (aptly titled Taylor’s Version) will feature a total of 26 songs— including six tracks from the vault that have never seen the light of day.

Taylor Swift paired the exciting announcement with a heartfelt note in which she talks about the headspace she was in while working on Fearless the first time around, describing the album as being “full of magic and curiosity, the bliss and devastation of youth.”

In addition, the singer also explained why Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is comprised of quite a few more tracks than the original album was.

“Only I know which songs I wrote that almost made the Fearless album. Songs I absolutely adored, but were held back for different reasons (don’t want too many breakup songs, don’t want too many down tempo songs, can’t fit that many songs on a physical CD),” wrote Swift. “Those reasons seem unnecessary now. I’ve decided I want you to have the whole story, see the entire vivid picture, and let you into the entire dreamscape that is my Fearless album.”

Fans will get to experience the first rerecorded track tonight when Swift drops “Love Story (Taylor’s Version)”— but what about the rest of the album?

As eagle-eyed fans have been quick to catch on to, it seems as though Taylor Swift has left a hint in her heartfelt note about when we might expect to see the album drop.

The singer has made it a point to capitalize a handful of letters in the announcement above, and when you put them all together, they spell out “April Ninth.”

If April 9 is, in fact, the release date for the album, then it seems like we won’t have to wait much longer before we can experience Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in full for ourselves!
