Taylor Swift has just unveiled the title of her brand new single, dropping worldwide in just a few hours!
Taylor Swift fans have been counting down the hours until the clock strikes midnight and it’s safe to say their collective patience will be rewarded!
Though there are still a few hours to go until Swift drops brand new music, the pop star has just revealed some super exciting information with regards to what we can expect when the song drops when the clock strikes 12!
Speaking to Robin Roberts during this year’s NFL Draft broadcast, Swift revealed that her brand new song is actually a collaboration with none other than Panic! at the Disco frontman, Brendon Urie.
“It’s going to be a new song and music video,” said Swift when Roberts asked what fans could expect come midnight. The song is called ‘ME!’…and it’s featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco.”
Eagle-eyed fans who’ve been following the clues Swift has been dropping like breadcrumbs since the countdown first appeared might have caught on to the hints the pop star has been leaving.
The biggest one unveiled itself in Nashville today in the form of a huge mural of butterfly wings featuring what we now know to be the single’s title.
In addition to dropping the name of her new single, Swift also divulged a few details with regards to what the song entails, revealing that the track is about “embracing your individuality and really celebrating it and owning it.”
“I just want it to be one that makes [the fans] feel better about themselves,” said Swift of her upcoming single.
Shortly after her interview wrapped, Swift took to Instagram to unveil the artwork for the new single.
In the caption, Swift announced that she’d be dropping the video on YouTube using the platform’s premiere feature.
“I can’t wait to watch live with you (and answer some questions) as it premieres,” wrote Swift.
