Kiss your paycheck goodbye, because Target and Disney are teaming up to open a few Disney shops at a cluster of Target stores.

We’ve all experienced the Target effect, where you go into Target intent on buying a couple of things and leaving with a cartful of goodies. Well, it seems that is going to get a bit worse with their exciting new team up with Disney.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the retailer will be opening up several permanent Disney shops at a few Target locations starting this fall. Beginning on October 4, there will be 25 locations opening, and come 2020, they expect to open 40 more.

According to the THR report, these new Target Disney stores will be Disney Store branded, and will have a wide range of merchandise and the interactive experience we’ve all come to expect from a Disney store. So, essentially, the experience will be much more immersive than other Disney shops you might have seen in a JCPenney, for instance.

Of course, if a Disney shop isn’t opening in your area, don’t fret. Happily, the mega-retailer has also launched a Disney-focused “retail experience” on its website. You can also use the site to see if a Disney store will be opening at your local Target.

And while it’s neat to see the new Disney shops popping up, apparently you can also expect to see a Target opening at Walt Disney World. In 2021, a store is planned to open near the WDW entrance.

This is truly a powerful partnership, and it’s one that will make accessing Disney-branded goodies a lot easier for fans to get their hands on. While we’re all silently going to bemoan how much money we’re likely to dump into the new Disney merch at Target, it’s pretty exciting that the Happiest Place on Earth has found a way to sneak its way a little closer to our everyday lives.

So be sure to check to see where your closest Disney shop is opening, and start hunting for some exciting new Disney merch!
