This may be bad news for Supernatural fans, but it’s certainly good news for Jim Beaver, as he’ll reprising his role as Shelby on Justified!

Jim Beaver announced on Twitter that he will return to Justified for a substantial arc, over an uncertain number of episodes:

In season 2, Jim Beaver appeared as Shelby, the manager of the mine where Boyd worked. Season 3 of Justified premieres on January 17.

We are happy to see Beaver return to the show, but this pretty much confirms Bobby’s fate on Supernatural, doesn’t it? The show will be a shadow of itself without him.
