One Ackles isn’t enough for Supernatural anymore! The show is bringing Jensen’s father Alan back for a guest appearance in season 8.

E! Online reports that Alan Ackles, who has actually featured on the show previously as an uncredited newscaster, will make a guest appearance some times this season. This time, we expect the show will actually feature the actor himself as opposed to just his voice.

The older Ackles is known for voicing countless commercials, as well as his roles on Walker, Texas Ranger and the original Dallas. He most recently guest starred in an episode of the Dallas remake series.
