The Supernatural season 9 finale, “Do You Believe in Miracles,” airs tonight, as Metatron makes his move against humanity.

The Road So Far

Dean confronted Abaddon. Using the power of the Mark of Cain, he fought against her hold and killed her, though the brothers let Crowley live. Dean has since become increasingly consumed by the rage of the Mark.

Meanwhile, after Metatron undermined Castiel’s authority over his followers and left him with only the Winchesters as support, Gadreel reached out and asked for a chance at redemption. It appeared that Dean would accept the offer until he sliced Gadreel across the chest with the First Blade.
