The CW has released a batch of promotional stills from Supernatural season 9, episode 3, titled “I’m No Angel” and heavily featuring Castiel.
After having his grace removed in the Supernatural season 8 finale, Castiel fell to Earth as a human. In the season 9 premiere, it became apparent that a number of the fallen angels are on the hunt for him since they blame him for being cast from Heaven.
Castiel managed to get in touch with Dean, who told him to make his way to the Men of Letters bunker. However, with the return of Abaddon, the brothers did not have time in episode 2 to look for their friend. It looks like that will be changing in episode 3. Check out some stills from the episode:

The synopsis for Supernatural season 9, episode 3 “I’m No Angel” reads:
CASTIEL IS HUNTED BY THE ANGELS — Ezekiel tells Dean (Jensen Ackles) a group of angels is hunting Castiel (Misha Collins). Dean and Sam (Jared Padalecki) race to find their friend before the angels do. Meanwhile, a homeless Castiel is trying to make his way through the city and comes across some unexpected surprises. Kevin Hooks directed the episode written by Brad Buckner & Eugenie Ross-Leming (#903).
It looks like the relationship between Dean and Ezekiel, the angel possessing Sam, will continue to grow; Ezekiel shared a moment with Dean in “Devil May Care” after the angel took over Sam’s unconscious body to kill a group of demons. Dean, after nicknaming Ezekiel “Zeke,” informed him that he was going to trust him while Zeke assured Dean that he was doing the right thing by keeping the possession secret from Sam.
It also looks like we’ll be getting more insight into Castiel’s efforts to assimilate into humanity. He’s had some practice after spending years with the Winchesters but, as we saw when Cas tried to smite the biker using the pay phone he needed in the season premiere, old habits die hard. No doubt this will be an ongoing struggle for the fallen angel.
